Fellowship opportunities

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42

Our membership is large; our congregation is warm and caring. Our fellowship ministry helps build relationships through events that promote fun and recreation.

  • Dinner D’Eight (pronounced Dinner “Date”) - After a large kick-off dinner, participants are divided into groups of eight who gather at homes or restaurants to share meals four to six times during the year. It’s a great way to meet people in the church outside your age bracket or usual circles and whom you might not have a chance to meet otherwise. Singles and couples welcome.
  • Saturday Spree/First Friday Free - Monthly potluck dinner and sing-a-long
  • Annual picnic - Old-fashioned picnic and games for all ages after church one Sunday afternoon in the spring.
  • Hands with Heart Day - Everyone pitches in to make improvements in the church and the community. Tasks are available for all, no matter your age, whether you can give an hour or a full day. Held one Saturday in the spring or fall.
  • Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children’s Parade - Held the first Saturday in December, volunteers serve hot chocolate, give tours of the church, and help children with crafts along the parade route. A chance to make God’s love and our welcoming hearts known to those who live in the Dallas area during the Christmas season.

Service to Others
